Richard Edward Arbogast MARLINTON, W.Va. - Richard Edward Arbogast, 58, of Marlinton, W.Va., died Friday, May 11, 2007, at Carilion Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Va.
Richard worked for Rexrode Masonry in Monterey, Va. for 37 years as a stone mason. He was an Army veteran and attended the Marlinton Presbyterian Church.
He was born in Marlinton July 18, 1948, the son of the late Charles H. and Nellie Sheets Arbogast.
He is survived by his wife Donna S. Clutter Arbogast; a daughter, Ashley Nicole Arbogast of Madison, Va.; two sons and daughters-in-law, John David and Lisa Arbogast of Lewisburg; and Charles R. and Donna Arbogast of Elkton, Va.; two grandchildren, Brandon and J.D. Arbogast; a sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Richard Hicks of Monterey, Va.; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles "Gordie" and Edith Arbogast of Hillsboro, Michael and Linda Arbogast of Loveland, Colo., and Timothy and Carlene Arbogast of Longmont, Colo.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Tena Dean.
Arrangements are being handled by VanReenen Funeral Home, Marlinton, where the family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, May 15.
Funeral services will be at VanReenen Funeral Home at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 16 with the Rev. Cameron Harkness officiating.
Interment will be at Arbovale Cemetery in Arbovale.
