Highland fair a perfect time to celebrate
      You just have to love the Highland County Fair. Bull riding, demolition derby, a full day of horse show the week before, music, incredible food, rides and games, tractor pulls, the parade, the best in crafts and flowers and homemade cookies, giant, beautiful vegetables, livestock shows, cute babies … there’s nothing like our fair that provides so much bang for the buck.

I think I had a ‘senior moment,’ but I can’t remember

      There is no official age when one becomes a “senior citizen.” Generally, my research shows it to be somewhere between 60 and 65. The good news is, I’m not there yet, having turned 51 three weeks ago. The bad news is, some days, my brain appears to be long past that point.
