Thirty seniors traveled by motorcoach to Lancaster and stayed two nights at the Hotel Brunswick. They walked to open markets and Amish shops, went to a market in Amish Country for a buggy ride and also saw the play, "Sarah and Abraham," at Living Waters Theatre, followed by an Amish feast. The next day they had a three-hour tour of Amish farms and shops with a tour guide sharing history, and later had lunch in Gettysburg after seeing the Civil War Battlefields. There was also a comic show on the motorcoach which helped make the long trip more entertaining.
