By MATTHEW CAMPAGNA • Staff Writer WARM SPRINGS — A high-speed police chase ended in wreckage last week on Warm Springs Mountain, and with the arrest of driver Kenny Harrison of Brandywine, W.Va. The high-speed chase is a staple of Hollywood films, and while the film versions may be over-the-top, they may not be completely off the mark. The reality of a car chase is one of high potential for collateral damage and danger to anyone or anything in the path of pursuit. So while explosions and airborne automobiles may not be the norm, it's well within the realm of possibility for cars to collide or go off the road, for pedestrians to be injured or killed, and for property to be damaged.
