Visitor praying for Highland

Editor, The Recorder, I recently visited your county for the first time this year for the Maple Festival and I haven’t forgotten it. The beauty awed me at every turn. The people that I had opportunity to meet were kind and welcoming and loved their community. The festival was great. But my mind keeps going back to the beauty. I can honestly say that I fell in love with Highland County. I truly felt that I had stepped into a piece of heaven. And with the way the mountains rolled around and wrapped me up, I felt like I had danced in the hem of the cloak of our creator’s robe.
