      KANSAS CITY, Mo. - United Country Real Estate president Lou Francis recently announced United Country- Shamrock & Stephenson Realty, Inc of Monterey holds the No. 44 nationwide ranking among 650 offices coast-to-coast, through the first quarter of 2007. The office has reached the company's Master Salesman Award level in only the first three months of the year.

'Wheels of Hope' bike ride set for July 21
      LEWISBURG, W.Va. - The Greenbrier Valley Bikers will host the inaugural Greenbrier Valley Wheels of Hope bicycle ride Saturday, July 21. The non-competitive ride will start and end in Lewisburg and offer participants a variety of routes ranging from 25, 40 and 60 miles on paved, country roads.

      MONTEREY - The Highland County Departments of Social Services will accept applications for cooling assistance until Aug. 15. Assistance is based on the availability of money. Cooling assistance includes purchasing or repairing cooling equipment and/or paying for electricity to operate cooling equipment.
