JOSEPH FRANCIS HIGGINS

CHURCHVILLE- Joseph Francis Higgins, 63, of 599 Dry Branch Road, Churchville, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Higgins was born Dec. 8, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pa., the son of the late Joseph Francis and Marie Theresa Senior Higgins.

Mr Higgins was a former employee for KBT Trucking and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Mr. Higgins was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Higgins.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Smith Higgins of Churchville; two sons, Jason Higgins of Staunton and Hunter Higgins of Churchville; two daughters, Colleen Higgins of Staunton and Shannon Higgins of Churchville; two granddaughters, Jasmine and Amerah Higgins of Staunton; two brothers, Thomas and James Higgins, both of Philadelphia, Pa., and four sisters, Joan Wolfe and her husband, Arlie of Middlebrook, Anne Coyle of Philadelphia, Pa., Margie Harkness of Bear, Del., ad Marie McGee of Southampton, Pa.

His body was cremated. A memorial service will be private.
