Highland boys finish 3rd to earn regional bid, Chargers finish 5th
      COVINGTON - Highland's Haley Billingsley finished second in the district championships Thursday and her Ram teammates gave it their all to finish one point ahead of Craig County and capture the Pioneer District championship in Covington.

      Highland at James River BUCHANNON - The district leading James River Knights clinched a regional playoff berth and the district title by defeating the Highland Rams in straight games last Thursday. Highland fell behind 22-2 in game one and took a 25-4 loss.

      COVINGTON- Like a cat playing with its captured prey, the Bath County volleyball team toyed with the Covington Cougars long enough for Charger Carey Trimble to break the school record in kills and went on to beat the Cougars in four games Thursday night.

      A total of 14 teams participated in the 2nd Annual "take the backroads to Bath" Chamber Classic Golf Tournament at The Homestead's famous Cascades Course on Sunday, October 28th at 2:00pm. It was a beautiful Autumn day to play such a gorgeous course.
