Wind project decision another step closer

RICHMOND - Whether Highland County becomes home to the state's first industrial wind energy utility is a decision up to the three members of the State Corporation Commission, who have a two-year record of testimony in hand. The SCC has no deadline by which it must grant a permit to Highland New Wind Development, if it chooses to do so.
