MILDRED M. TAYLOR
DUNMORE, W.Va. - Mildred Maxine Hiner Taylor, 75, of Dunmore, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2007, at her home in Dunmore.
Born Dec. 11, 1931, at Monterey, Va., she was a daughter of the late Howard Russell and Madge White Hiner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond G. Taylor, and a son, Ray Taylor.
Mildred was a homemaker, a foster grandparent for Green Bank Elementary School for seven years, was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church worked on the Pocahontas County Election Board for several years.
Surviving are one daughter, Linda L. Grimes and husband, Terry, of Elkins; two sons, Roy Taylor and wife, Jean, of Durbin and Wayne Taylor and wife, Julie, of Canton, Ohio; one daughter-inlaw, Linda Taylor of Dunmore; one brother, Robert Hiner and wife, Faye, of Edinburg, Va.; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 10, in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church at Dunmore. The Rev. David Rittenhouse officiated and interment was in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
