New beauty spot - The parking lot between the Millboro Ruritan Club and town pool sports a new look, thanks to the efforts of Master Gardener Vivian Manis, a member of Ruritans. The club discussed adding plantings around the light pole with a patriotic theme to celebrate the state's anniversary of the founding of Jamestown, the first permanent English settlement in the country, and Manis took on the challenge. The big oval flower bed now blossoms with 24 red celosias, 22 white zinnias, and 12 blue veronicas. Manis also employs her gardening skills at Windy Cove Farm in Millboro Springs.
