Petty ride coming to Bath
HOT SPRINGS - NASCAR driver Kyle Petty will arrive in Hot Springs Tuesday, July 17 during the 13th annual Chick-fil-A Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America.
The charity ride will cover more than 2,800 miles in eight days as Petty, his wife Pattie, and father, Richard, lead more than 250 friends, family, and supporters down the East Coast.
Fans and spectators are encouraged to donate coins along the ride route through the "Small Change, Big Impact" program. The money raised will be used to send children to the Victory Junction Gang Camp in North Carolina, dedicated to enriching the lives of children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses by providing a fun and exciting camp experience with a safe and medically sound environment. Last year, more than $53,000 was raised, enough to send 21 additional children to camp.
