Bee specialist Bill Harman admires a piece of honeycomb and looks closely for the queen bee. If the queen is found the hive will swarm and follow her wherever she goes. At right, the day after losing their honeycombs, the hive gets back to work repairing the damage. Attempts to find the queen proved unsuccessful Tuesday and removal be attempted again later to hopefully better luck. If the queen cannot be found, the bees will be destroyed.
