STAUNTON - On Saturday June 2, 2007, Anna Marie Piner and Shawn Adam Grant were married at the Light House Church in Churchville.
Mrs. Grant is the daughter of Floyd and Doris Piner of Churchville.
Grant is the son of Jeffrey and Susan Grant of McDowell.
The matron of honor was the bride's sister, Brenda Truslow of Staunton. The bridesmaids were Erica and Korrin Grant of McDowell, sisters of the groom, and Rachel Piner of Staunton, niece of the bride. The bridesmaids each wore different color pastel dresses in blue, pink, corral and lavender and carried a single white rose. The flower girl was Annalice Pucket.
The bride wore a white Victorian style dress and carryied a silk flower bouquet matching each of the bridesmaid dresses.
The best man was Jeffrey Grant, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Alan Grant of McDowell, uncle of the groom; Ronnie Piner of Staunton, brother of the bride; and TJ Grant of McDowell, cousin of the groom. The groom and groomsmen wore white tuxedos. Ring bearer was James Piner.
The ushers were Mike Robinson of Independence, Ohio, uncle of the groom; Aaron Pugh of Bartow, W.Va.; and Chad Lightner of Williamsville, friends of the groom.
Megan Grant, cousin of the groom, handled the guest book.
The couple took a weddng trip to Myrtle Beach, and returned to reside in Staunton.
