"Abby" Celebrates Her 106th Birthday
Mrs. Lena F. Bonner, better known as "Abby," recently celebrated her 106th birthday with a picnic held in her honor at the Hiner family farm in Mountain Grove. Mrs. Bonner was born July 15, 1901 in Knapp's Creek, W.Va. In 1905, her family moved to Mountain Grove. She married Burnett C. Bonner in 1921 and they lived in Bacova for a short time before moving back to Mountain Grove, where continues to live with her sister, Catherine Kershner. Mrs. Bonner welcomes greetings, which may be addressed to her at 103 Gatewood Drive, Warm Springs, Va. 24484.
