1953-54 Highland Boys'Basketball Team
 | | Last week's unidentified photo on "From Our Early Files" page was identified by a sharp-eyed reader as the 1953-54 Highland boys' basketball team. Pictured are (l-r) front row: Robert Rexrode, Carlton Hull, Jimmy Rexrode, Lyle Curtis Hull, Eddie Folks, Jimmy Smith, Johnny Wagner, Ernest Nuckols; standing: C.R. Sipe Jr., manager; Roy Gutshall, Richard Judy, Earl Douglas, Arnet Lindsay, Ralph High, Lloyd Rexrode, Dwayne Dilly, Lowell Chestnut, Roscoe Herold Jr., and Douglas L. Hebb. The Rams opened the season with a 14-game schedule. The team elected Lyle Cutis Hull and Eddie Folks as co-captain. |
