Drug charges placed
 | | Heather Dawn McAlliser, 25, of Millboro, was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 20 on the indictments of two counts of distribution of a schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine); one count of distribution of schedule I controlled substance ("N,N" - dimethylamphetamine); she was released on a $5,000 secured bond |
| During the month of September, indictments, petitions and arrests were conducted by the Alleghany Highlands Drug Task Force against the six individuals. Task force members include: Alleghany County Sheriff's Office, Bath County Sheriff's Office, Clifton Forge Police Department, Covington Police Department, Highland County Sheriff's Office, and Virginia State Police.
 | | Charles Benjamin Shurtleff, 23, of Hot Springs, was arrested on Friday, Sept. 21 on the indictments of two counts of distribution of marijuana; he was released on a $5,000 secured bond. A Bath County juvenile was served with two petitions on Thursday, Sept. 27 on one count of distributing a schedule IV controlled substance (clonazepam) and one count of distributing a controlled substance (marijuana); the individual was release on a juvenile petition to appear in juvenile court on the date mandated. |

 | | Houston E. Kincaid Jr., 21, of Hot Springs, was arrested Wednesday, Sept. 19 on the indictment of one count of unlawfully possessing a schedule II substance (morphine); he is being held at Alleghany Regional Jail. |

 | | Raddcliffe M. King, 24, of Warm Springs, was arrested on one count of possession with intent to distribute a schedule I substance (methylenedioxymethamphetemine); he was arrested on a drug investigation on Friday, Sept. 14 and was released on a $5,000 secured bond. |

 | | Daven Shawn Robertson, 42, of Millboro, was arrested Thursday, Sept. 20 on the indictment of one count of manufacturing marijuana; he was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond. |
