Fall gathering held in Big Valley

| BOLAR - Family, relatives and friends met Sunday, Oct. 21 at the home of Vesta Ruckman in Big Valley. It was a four-fold event - a visit to the mountains this time of year, a fall get-together, a celebration of October birthdays and the wedding anniversary of John and Esta Siron of Staunton, who were married in Ruckman's home 60 years ago by the late Rev. Raymond E. Bussard, uncle of the bride.
The only ones present who were at the wedding were Erwin Bussard and Ruckman.
Everyone who attended enjoyed the drive across the mounall tains and through the valleys at this beautiful autumn season, and the fellowship of the day.
A bountiful picnic lunch was enjoyed at noon.
