MONTEREY - The following building permits were issued by the Highland County Department of Building and Zoning in the month of Septemeber:

Monterey district - JAlbert Beverage, mechanical; Allen Lowry, accessory building; Douglas Varner, repair/replacement; Jay Tesh, plumbing; Mark Nadolny, alteration and addition; Ted Davis, electric.
Stonewall district - Allen Ervin, alteration and addition; Gale Morgan, electric.
Estimated costs of improvements were $394,854 and permit fees of $1,656 were collected.
