 | | Miles Dean, a teacher, is riding his Palomino down Route 84. He has ridden from Pennsylvania to Virginia on U.S. 220 and went down Route 600 to pick up Route 39 to ride on into West Virginia and Kentucky. He started his ride in New York City and plans to ride across the country tracing the history of African Americans who moved west and helped to build the United States.
