Reedy to be deployed
DOE HILL - April Reedy of Doe Hill is being deployed overseas with the Army National Guard. She is a soldier in Support Battalion. She completed training of 30 days at Fort Pickett in Blackstone, and is now training at her mobilization station. She will deploy the middle to the end of July.
Reedy received promotion to sergeant while training at Fort Pickett in Blackstone.
Reedy is the daughter of Claude and Jeanne Reedy of Doe Hill.
She is the granddaughter of Jim and Helen Mines of Dayton, and Bob and Anna Reedy of Broadway.
She is a 2003 graduate of Highland High School.
