CRAIGSVILLE - Matthew and Amanda F. Burke of Craigsville announce the birth of their first child, a son, Andrew Douglas Scott Burke, born Sept. 2, 2007 at Augusta Medical Center. Andrew weighed seven pounds, nine ounces and was 20 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Dennis and Stephanie Forbes of Millboro. Paternal grandparents are Scottie and Rosanna Burke of Craigsville.
Maternal great-grandparents are Virginia Gentry and the late Douglas Gentry and Melba Forbes and the late Paul Forbes, all of Millboro.
Paternal great-grandparents are Elizabeth Burke and the late Robert Burke of Goshen and John and Marie Fridley of Augusta Springs.
