Highland Thursday, Nov. 20 ¦ The Highland Center will host Virginia Department of Business Assistance, to learn about the Commonwealth's latest mandates for spending; helpful eVA (electronic Virginia, the state's electronic procurement system) tips to increase your chances of selling to the Commonwealth; and understand the SWAM (small, women and minority) certification process, at 11 a.m. Lunch will be followed by a group question and answer session. There is no fee. The competition will take place Saturday, Dec. 6 at the center's Holiday Treasures Market, held in conjunction with the Highland County Wintertide Festival.
