Area school students, 4-H club members, church groups and scouts are invited to compete in making ornaments out of natural or recycled materials. Ornaments are judged, and prizes are awarded in various categories. Schools may also contact the ark for a reduce, reuse, recycle outreach program for their students to go along with contest participation. Friday, Dec. 5 thru Saturday, Dec. 6 ¦ The GED test will be given at the Bath County School Administration Building at 7 p.m. and continue on Dec. 6 at 8:30 a.m. Anyone interested in taking the GED test must pre-register prior to Dec. 3. This event raises money for camp scholarships given to local students. Members are reminded to bring at least one wrapped gift to be auctioned off after lunch.
