Jessica Young
HOT SPRINGS - Jessica Young, daughter of John and Debbie Young of Hot Springs, graduated Basic Combat Training for the U.S. Army on Oct. 12, 2007.
Training at Fort Jackson, S.C., near Columbia and was a member of the Alpha Company, 313th Infantry Regiment, under the command of Capt. Luaro and First Sergeant Waldron.
promoted in rank to a Private First Class. After completing BCT, PFC Young stayed at Fort Jackson to complete her Advance Individual Training where she received her Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) as a 42 Alpha, Human Resource Specialist. She was a member of the Charlie Company, 369th AGBattalion, under the command of Captain Burns and First Sergeant Lopez.
Dec. 14, with a grade point average of 95.5, the highest in her class.
