FFA spotlight: Sean Duff Editor's note: This is the first in a series of articles written by the Highland FFA about outstanding members of the FFA.

| MONTEREY - Sean Duff, son of Tim and Terry Duff of Mill Gap, is a senior at Highland High School. He is very active and dedicated to the Future Farmers of America.
Duff is the Highland FFA chapter president, and has been a member of the FFA chapter for six years, participates in many career development events including judging livestock, forestry, cattle working and tractor driving.
About his experiences, Duff said, "My favorite FFA activity would have to be the cattle working competition, for the reason that it is hands on and it involves what I love to do most, which is being outside and working with livestock. In addition, I would say the highlight of my FFA career would have to be receiving the office of Federation Secretary."
Duff has been working on his Suffolk lamb supervised agriculture experience since his freshman year of high school.
After graduating this year, he plans to attend Virginia Tech in hopes of pursuing a degree in agriculture economics. In the future he hopes to own and operate his own beef cattle operation, and use his agricultural economics degree to help him manage and market his herd of cattle.
