MONTEREY - The following building permits were issued by the Highland County Department of Building and Zoning in the month of November 2007:
Blue Grass district - Donald Hedrick, manufactured home.
Monterey district - Kathryn Gwinn, new home/cabin; Richard Roberson, electric.
Stonewall district - Raymond Lightner, electric; Robert Neil, electric; Robin Brown, new home/ cabin; Seven Day Adventist Church, electric; Taylor Ramsey Corp., demolish structure.
Estimated costs of improvements were $139,860, and permit fees of $674 were collected.
The following building permits were issued in the month of December 2007:
Blue Grass district - Douglas Endicott, accessory building.
Monterey district - Chamber of commerce, electric; Daniel Freed, mechanical; David Robertson, alteration and addition; Highland Baptist Church, mechanical.
Estimated costs of improvements were $50,554, and permit fees of $295 were collected.
