Photo The friendly new face at the Millboro Post Office belongs to Joe Cormier, of Staunton, who started working at the local facility on Dec. 8 as sales and service associate with Postmaster Claudette Wilcher. Cormier's primary responsibilities are assisting residents with walk-in service, getting mail ready for carriers and letter mail by route, and distributing box mail. He has worked for the postal service in Staunton for the past two years, including city and rural carrier and in delivering express mail. He now works part time at both facilities. Cormier said he has wanted to work for the postal service since he was 19. In the meantime, he worked in roller rinks in various states for 25 years and managed roller rinks for 14 years during that time. He is enjoying the friendly atmosphere he's encountered here in Millboro. (Recorder photo by Gina Hamilton)
