Plecker - Mercer
MILLBORO - Marty and Susan Plecker announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Plecker of Millboro, to Greg Mercer of Woodstock.
Mr. Mercer is the son of Randa Kennedy of Woodstock and the late Scott Mercer.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Bath County High School and a 2006 graduate of Virginia Tech, where she received a B.S. degree in marketing management. She is currently employed at Shentel as a marketing assistant and resides in Woodstock.
Mr. Mercer graduated from Central High School in 2000. He received a B.S. degree in accounting and information systems from Virginia Tech in 2005 and a master's of accounting degree from Virginia Tech in 2006. He is currently employed as a staff accountant at Yount, Hyde, & Barbour in Winchester.
The ceremony will be held Saturday, May 17, 2008 at River Uplands Farm in Millboro, with Pastor David George officiating.
