The Homestead honors employees for longtime service
HOT SPRINGS - The Homestead honored many longtime employee partners with annual service awards, awarded in one, three and five year increments. Awards ranged from one year of service to 50 years of service at the famed resort.
"There are few better indicators of just how special our resort is than the remarkable records of service we saw last year," said The Homestead vice president and general manager, Sean Maddock. "Our employee partners are the backbone of The Homestead and play on integral role in continuing the history of excellence.
As a testimony to the resort's history of employee longtime tenure, topping the charts at 50 years were Charles Ailstock with the Department of Truck and Equipment, Ralph Peery Jr. with the Cascades Links and Emma Wolfe with the Homestead Laundry. Employee tenures ran from one for 45 years, four for 40 years; seven for 35 years, eight for 30 years, 13 for 25 years, 14 for 20 years, 10 for 15 years, 21 for 10 years, 31 for 5 years, 85 for 3 years and 91 for 1 year.
