Pendleton Pals meet at Maple Festival

MONTEREY - The Pendleton Pals will meet on Saturday, March 15, at the Highland County Museum and Heritage Center in McDowell, during the Maple Festival from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The Pendleton Pals are a group of amateur genealogists researching families from the Pendleton and Highland County areas.

Some of the families being researched include Bodkin/Botkin, Eckard, Ellinger, Grogg, Gum, Hoover, Huffman, Losh, Malcolm, Mitchell, Moats, Page, Propst, Puffenbarger, Rexrode, Simmons, Smith, Snyder, Varner, Wade, Waybright and Wimer.

If you are in the area, the welcomes you to stop by and visit so you can look through its books of family histories and photos. Feel free to bring any information or pictures to share.
