Rabies awareness week is March 10-15
Rabies awareness week is March 10-15. Special rabies clinics will be held at various locations throughout the area. Listed below are some of the area locations holding the special rabies clinics. Check with a local veterinarian to see if they are offering a special clinic and rates.
• Animal Clinic of Verona - call (540) 248-6310 for details.
• Augusta/Staunton SPCA offers rabies shots on March 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Walk-ins are accepted or call (540) 885-7722.
• Commonwealth Veterinary Clinic, Fishersville holds a clinic on Saturday, March 15 from 12-2 p.m. Walk-ins are accepted or call (540) 942-9777.
• Rockbridge/Lexington SPCA, offers shots March 10- 14, 1 to 3 p.m. daily. Walk-ins are accepted or call (540) 463- 5123.
• Westwood Animal Hospital offers shots during that week during office hours. Walk-ins are accepted or call (540) 337-6200.
