Break-in reported at pharmacy

HOT SPRINGS - The Hot Springs Pharmacy, located on Main Street in downtown Hot Springs, was broken into on Tuesday morning, May 11.

Details are sketchy, but pharmacist Bill Shaver confirmed there had been break-in. He said he could not provide more information until the Bath County deputies released the details.

Lt. Tim Dunnegan, of the Bath County Sheriff's Office, is investigating. "All I can tell you is the pharma- ceutical was broken into and it is under investigation right now. When I am finished with it I will give you the story on it," he said.

According to two separate sources, the back door was kicked in and drugs were stolen. Dunnegan could not confirm these details.

He said, "I am not confirming any information right now. I don't want anything to jeopardize the investigation."
