Poet makes appearance at Southernmost this weekend
BOLAR - Nyle Henderson, Christian cowboy poet, will be at Southernmost Maple near Bolar Sat. March 15 and will be at 11 a.m. Sunday morning worship service at Southernmost.
"I want to give people something to put down in their hearts and take home with them," says Henderson.
A nationally recognized entertainer, with credits on the "Tonight Show" and "Portrait of America," Henderson is pro-family, responsibility and integrity and serves it up in an entertaining manner.
Henderson' poetry is a mixture of humor and down-home morality, delivered as performance art.
"My poetry is just a rhyming diary of my life," says Henderson. "It's about some horses I've rode, some cowboys I've known, some places I've been or something I've done."
Henderson, originally from Colorado, has spent his life working on ranches in the West.
