Bath kindergarten registration held April 4
WARM SPRINGS - For students who will enter kindergarten for the 2008-09 school term, Bath County Public Schools will hold group counseling and registration sessions on Friday, April 4.
Valley Elementary School has scheduled a morning session for 10 a.m.
Millboro Elementary School's afternoon session is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
Children who will be five years old by Sept. 30 are eligible for enrollment in next year's class. Children whose fifth birthday occurs between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31 may be enrolled only after an appropriate readiness evaluation has demonstrated that attendance in kindergarten would be educationally beneficial.
Parents are asked to bring birth certificates, immunization records and social security numbers to complete registration requirements.
Children must have had a physical examination and all required immunizations before they enter school.
