| MONTEREY - If you are looking for a hilarious evening to shake off the last of the Maple Festival blues, The Kitchen Witches is the play for you.
The most recent Highland County Arts Council production will be performed on Friday and Saturday, March 28 and 29 at 7:30 p.m. at The Highland Center.
Jessica Rogers plays the part of Dolly Biddle, dynamic cooking show hostess, whose last performance is rudely interrupted by her old nemesis, Isabel Lomax (Norma Reynolds). Rath Campbell performs as hapless Steven Biddle, beloved son and producer of "Baking with Babcha" and "The Kitchen Witches." His slightly dull life takes off in ways he could never imagine. David Leech is Rob the camera man, Joseph Wagner runs light and sound and a mystery guest really mixes everything up.
The Kitchen Witches was writ- ten by Caroline Smith, and will be directed by Caroline Smith. Smith is the winner of the 2005 Samuel French Canadian Playwriting award.
Tickets for The Kitchen Witches are available at the door. Even though the production is intended primarily for adults, no child who watches any prime time television
