4-H members can register for upcoming '08 Congress
Monterey - Highland and Bath County senior 4-H members can register for the 2008 State 4-H Congress.
This year's event will be held on the Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg from Monday, June 23 to Thursday, June 26. Many past 4-H members consider the Congress a capstone event and a highlight of their 4-H career.
The four-day event brings together members throughout Virginia to participate in educational short courses, service projects, leadership conferences, competitions and fellowship activities.
This year, special activities include a college fair hosted by Virginia Tech, a robotics competition and closing ceremony remarks by Miss Virginia 2007.
The cost for Congress includes lodging, meals and transportation. Scholarships may be available for those needing financial assistance.

Return completed registrations to the extension officefrom Friday, March 28 to Friday, April 25, with the latter date as the deadline.
