Olivia Haney is chairing the event this year. Andrea Britt is the community representative and can be reached for more details and sign-up at andrea.britt@cancer. org or by calling (540) 774-2716. The Bath County goal for 2008 is to raise $31,750 for the society as it seeks to eliminate cancer and provide support to cancer patients and survivors. As of Monday, 45 participants had signed up to walk the 1.09-mile track around the school. According to the ACS, the Relay for Life is now held in more than 4,000 places in the U.S. and in eight countries.
