Camp Accovac to host women's retreat
MILLBORO - Camp Accovac will host a women's retreat April 11 and 12. The theme will be "Awake, Sleeping Beauty."
Praise and worship for each service will be led by the Rev. and Mrs. Rob Buchanan from the Advent Christian Church in Princeton, W.Va.
Registration will begin Friday, at 6:30 p.m. The evening service will begin at 7 p.m. Amy Jo Nicely Beasley will be the guest speaker. Beasley is from Jacksonville, Fla. She is married and the mother of three small children.
The speaker for Saturday morning will be Bonnie Tillery Nicely from the Lone Star Advent Christian Church. Shirley Bruffey of Covington Good News Fellowship Church will be the speaker Saturday afternoon.
Special music for the weekend will include Erin Mutespaugh Clark, Robin Mutespaugh Powell, Maggie Nicely Purdue, Ann Donovan, Susie Jenkins Malhkiw, Jane Wright and Mary Pandolfindi.
Camp Accovac is located on Route 42 and Route 39, two and one-quarter miles northeast of Millboro Springs.
