Bath seniors to visit Amish country in PA
HOT SPRINGS - The Bath Community Senior Center is planning an Amish Country and Lancaster Show trip July 7-9. Twenty-fiveseniors will travel in a restroom- and video-equipped motorcoach with Diamond Tours to Lancaster in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country for three days and two nights.
They will go on a guided tour of Lancaster and visit a marketplace of shops and restaurants. They will also see "Abraham and Sarah: A Journey of Love" at Living Waters Theatre, and accompany Abraham and Sarah on their incredible journey and learn anew the overwhelming power of faith. That night there will be a dinner at a local restaurant. On day three they depart for home.
There is a cost per person that must be paid by May 26. To help with expenses, the Bath County Senior Center is having a yard and bake sale on Saturday, April 26, at 9 a.m. at the Senior Center located in West Warm Springs. There is still room available, the bus can accommodate 40.
