Arrest made in theft case
WARM SPRINGS - On April 9, 2008, Aaron Jacob Samuel Hanshew was arrested on four counts of petit larceny by Major R.D. Chestnut of the Bath County Sheriff's Office.
These charges all stem from larcenies from vehicles in the past two months. The first was on Triple Pine Lane in Hot Springs where a vehicle was entered and a GPS system was taken on on Feb. 21.
The other three charges were from the theft of CDs, cigarettes, and change taken from three different vehicles on Ashwood Drive on the night of April 1.
All of these charges were the result of an investigation by Chestnut, Sgt. W.B. Smith Jr., Cpl. R.W. Weaver, and Deputy W.C. Sexton of the Bath County Sheriff's Office.
