Twelve students gathered at The Highland Center on Monday, April 21, for a hands-on QuickBooks class, taught by Henry Reeves, Small Business Development Center counselor at James Madison University. The Valley SBDC has been partnering with the accounting firmof PBGH, LLP to bring QuickBooks classes to the region. The response to the proposed classes has been overwhelming; a second class is already full. A third QuickBooks class for beginner or experienced users of the program is being scheduled for May 6 from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Spaces are limited; those interested in attending should contact The Highland Center at (540) 468-1922 or email the highlandcenter@htcnet. org.
