Correction

n In last week's article on the old Millboro school property, an incorrect statement was made by Robin Sullenberger of Shenandoah Valley Partnership from a meeting with the residents' group trying to retain local ownership of the school site. Sullenberger informed The Recorder that when someone at the meeting asked if the Highland Center (a former school property in Monterey) pays taxes, he said yes, but he explained this week the center was granted an exemption under 501(c)3 nonprofit status.

n In last week's paper Katie Rexrode, of Millboro, was omitted as having tied with Gretchen King for the largest rainbow trout caught at the ninth annual Kids Fishing Day in McDowell. The two fishes measured in at 20 1/4 long inches.

All errors in fact brought to our attention will be quickly and gladly corrected. Clarifications will also be made as needed. We will appreciate having inaccuracies brought to our attention. (540) 468-2147.
