Hull - Phillips

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -

Lindsay Kate Hull and Zack E. Phillips III were united in marriage on July 28, 2007 at the Chapel at The Preserve Resort in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee, by the Rev. David Faulkner.

The bride is the daughter of Tom and Barbara Hull of Hightown, and the groom is the son of Zack and Ellen Phillips of Blue Grass.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore a white, strapless A-line gown with an overlay of alencon lace embellished with beading and pearls. She carried a bouquet of fresh cut flowers of coral lilies, red and white roses and orange, white and red daises.

Erin Florence of Parkersburg, W.Va., friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Stefanie Hull of Hightown was a bridesmaid, and Courtney Hull of Hightown, was a junior bridesmaid. Both are sisters of the bride. The maid of honor and bridesmaids wore coral, strapless, tea length, satin dresses.

William S. Will of Knoxville, friend of the groom and cousin of the bride, was best man. Trey Williams of Monterey, Va., friend of the groom was a groomsman, and John Woodard of Newport News, Va., nephew of the groom, was a junior groomsman.

The groom wore a lack tuxedo, and the best man and groomsmen wore black tuxedos with coral vests and ties.

Seth Woodard of Newport News, Va., was an usher, and handed out programs. Amidst breathtaking views of the Smokies, a dinner reception was held, immediately following the ceremony, in the meeting room of The Preserve. The couple danced their first dance to "Wild Horses" by the Rolling Stones.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Highland High School and a cum laude graduate of the University of Tennessee. She is employed by Paragon Publishing as a technical writer.

The groom is a 2001 graduate of Highland High School. He is employed by Farris Excavating in Knoxville.

The couple honeymooned at Negril, Jamaica, and are now residing in Knoxville.
