King certified as personal trainer at BCR&W
HOT SPRINGS - Bath Community Rehab & Wellness has announced Suzee King's recent certificationas a personal trainer from the American College of Sports Medicine. A native of Mountain Grove, Suzee graduated from Bath County High School in 2003 and has worked as a certified fitness instructor at BCR&W since June 2006.
"As a certified personal trainer, Suzee is qualified to work with clients of all ages and abilities to assess their fitness needs and develop plans to help them reach their goals," says Sharon Justice, manager of physical therapy and wellness. "Her energy and positive attitude will help motivate clients to reach their peak fitness potential."
"I love my job. I'm fortunate to have the support of the physical therapists who have taught me so much about posture, ergonomics, and other specialized body mechanics. Clients supervised by body mechanic experts are what makes Bath Community Rehab & Wellness different from other fitness centers."
King describes the personal training assessment process beginning with a history of a client's health issues and medications. "Next, we determine a client's cardio limits and their muscle strength, endurance and flexibility. Just about anyone can benefit from personal training with their doctor's approval. A person with diabetes can finda program that is beneficial, but their baseline and certain activities would be different from a person with no health issues." She adds that everyone should have a yearly check up even if they are healthy or have already started a program, stating that health issues do change.

And it's never too late to start working out."
