Open meeting on ag center project set
MONTEREY - Members of the Ag Center Steering Committee will be on hand for an information sharing, question and answer session on Wednesday, May 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the meeting room of The Highland Center.
This is a chance for citizens to come out in advance of the May 22 public hearing and ask questions about the proposed regional ag center, which is proposed as a meat processing facility; space for training/educational activities; loading docks, holding pens and scales for live animal marketing, and assistance marketing to the consumer.
The committee is in the planning stages and is interested in hearing from citizens in order to develop the best possible project for the community.
