Radio camp to be held
MONTEREY - Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a radio DJ? If so, join us at Kids Radio Camp for a hands-on learning experience.
Kids Radio Camp is being sponsored by the WVLS Staff and Steering Committee and will be held at the WVLS Studio in Monterey Wednesday, Aug. 6, from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Camp is open to rising second through rising seventh graders.
Lunch will be provided. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about the equipment, create and record announcements, and create and record a radio show that will air at 7 p.m. on Aug. 6.
To register, call Carson Ralston at (540) 468-1234 before July 30. Space is limited and participants will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
