Quilts touch the heart in Millboro
 | | Three generations of a family are recognized in this quilt lovingly made by Lorraine Provino of Norman, Okla., for their service in three different wars. It was part of the special quilt show of about 40 designs now traveling the country that was including in a stop at Tender Heart Quilts in Millboro last weekend as part of the store's annual open house.  | | A unique quilt show was part of the fifth anniversary open house at Tender Heart Quilts in Millboro last weekend. Approximately 40 quilts, including these, were displayed around the store from the God Bless America Quilt Show now traveling the country to raise funds for veterans. |

 | | Children enjoy a ride on the Quilt Express train during the open house last weekend at Tender Heart Quilts in Millboro. In the center car are Tony Villa-Valanc, Tristan Nichols, Adam and Matthew Zierler, all of Clifton Forge. Tristan's mother, Kay Nichols, and parents Glenn and Beth Zierler came to view the special God Bless America Quilt Show and participate in related activities for youngsters. Jesse Thompson guided the train around a pond on the property, while his brother Joshua, in back, came along for the ride. Another brother, Jordan, manned the refreshment stand. They are the children of store owner Cheryl Thompson and her husband, Wade. |
