Kudos to Bath, Highland baseball all-star players
Editor, The Recorder,
I am writing this letter to thank all the players and parents from Bath and Highland Counties for their participation in this year's 11-12 all-star baseball team. I know this year's all-star tournament may not have turned out the way we would have liked, but sometimes that's just the way it goes.
Again, I would especially like to thank the players and parents from Highland County for their extra effort and dedication. With all the practices and games being so far away, I know it can be a challenge, especially with the high gas prices. Also, I would like to thank The Recorder for their coverage of the team in last week's paper. Our young people can use all the support they can get.
In closing, I would like to say I enjoyed working with each and every one of these boys and hope to have everyone back on the ball field next year.
