Saturday, Jan. 17
¦ The Monterey United Methodist Charge will gather
for a planning retreat from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the
Monterey church. Bring a lunch item to share.
Sunday, Jan. 18
¦ The Monterey United Methodist Charge youth
group will gather from 6-8 p.m. at the Monterey
church. All youth in the community are invited.
¦ McDowell Presbyterian Church, JMU will be leading
the church service. No services in Headwaters in
January and February.
Wednesday, Jan. 21
¦ Mountain Grove United Methodist Church will have
a special Bible study at 7 p.m., led by the Rev. Richard
Boyer. The theme is "Guilt is Gone."
Thursday, Jan. 22
¦ Burnsville United Methodist Church Women's
Group meets at the church at 6:30 p.m., for their
annual dinner planning meeting. Bring a covered
dish and 2009 calendar.
Sunday, Jan. 25
¦ Chimney Run Church of the Brethren holds a soup
and sandwich lunch at noon. Everyone is welcome to
attend church services and fellowship meal afterward.
Donations will be accepted to support the building
fund.
